===== Explanation =====
In English, there is no plural for the word “information” because it is an uncountable noun – information is seen as a ”mass” just as, for example, flour [Mehl] or sugar or air. Non-countable things 

  * don’t have a plural (**examples 1 and 2**)
  * either have no article at all or a definite article, never an indefinite article (**example 3**). 

If you want to stress [betonen] that there was a single piece of information you can use a word like  “piece” or “bit” (**examples 3 and 7**).

Im Englischen gibt es **keinen Plural für das Wort “information”**, da es ein **nicht zählbares Substantiv** ist – Informationen werden als nicht zählbare Menge aufgefasst, so wie z.B. Mehl oder Zucker oder Luft. Nicht zählbare Dinge 

  * haben im Englischen **keinen Plural** (**Beispiele 1 und 2**)
  * stehen entweder **ohne Artikel** oder mit dem **bestimmten Artikel**, nie mit einem **unbestimmten Artikel** (**Beispiel 3**). 

Wenn man betonen möchte, dass es um eine einzelne Information geht, benutzt man im Englischen “piece of information” (also wörtlich „ein Stück Information“) oder “bit of information”, siehe **Beispiele 3 und 7**.
